Welcome to Computers United Baseball League!

CUBL - 2025 APBA Season - George Glavas, Comissioner --- We in the CUBL family are saddend by the passing of current league champion, Vince Priblo. The CUBL league championship trophy will now be renamed the Vince Priblo Memorial CUBL League Championship Trophy

Hello, I'm Vince Priblo's sister, Janet. I came across your CUBL page, honoring my brother by naming your league trophy after him. I passed that along to my other brother and sister. We are so devastated by the sudden and shocking loss of our younger brother, but seeing things like this helps a little.

I remember Vince so far back, playing APBA with dice in a cup, keeping stats (and getting in trouble for making long distance phone calls when he was maybe 15 or 16 years old during the draft, if I recall correctly.) I love that he continued to play all this time, in one form or another.

You all gave Vince a lot of fun over the years, adding to his love of baseball. Thank you for your lovely gesture. Janet Priblo Binghamton, NY

Duane Mittelheuser founded Computers United Baseball League in October 1994. The inaugural season was played in 1995 with 14 teams using APBA Baseball for Windows and the 1994 season disk.

Vince Priblo followed up as commissioner in 1998 until leaving the position in 2015 and handed off the duties to George Glavas.

CUBL is now a 20 team, NON-AIM league and we draft via email with an online draft program.

CUBL World Series Recap: The 2025 season comes to a close with a hard fought and historic 7 game series between the Portland Seadogs and the TrackTown Metsies. Played on TeamViewer, both managers probably lost a few hairs and years of their life in the process.

Game 1
The Metsies led by Ragans’s strong start get just enough off of Sale to squek out a few runs. Sale goes 9ip with 15k’s but takes the loss in a 3-1 TrackTown win. Metsies pen throws a perfect 3 innings
Metsies win 3-1
W- Ragans
L- Sale
S- Kahnle

Game 2
Portland bounces back with a vengeance torching game 2 starter Michael King and the pen for 12 runs. Portland’s 1-3 hitters combine to go 7 for 13 with 2 homers. Skenes is a machine and goes the distance with 9 k’s
Portland wins 12-4
W- Skenes
L- King

Game 3 (series tied 1-1)
The Metsies get 4 off of Framber Valdez in the first and send him to the showers after just .1 ip. Portland claws back but the Metsies offense, led by Manny Machado and his 4 RBI’s, proves to be too much. Clarke Schmidt strikes out 16 Sea Dogs in 7.2ip in the biggest start of his life
Metsies win 8-3
W- Schmidt
L- Valdez
Game 4

Portland’s Chris Sale shows off his Cy Young repertoire with another complete game sparkler. This time it’s a shutout with 11k’s. TrackTown draws 3 walks, but Sale dominated when it mattered most. Leadoff hitter Witt jr goes 4-5 and is a homer short of the cycle
Portland wins 6-0
W- Sale
L- Ragans

Game 5 (series tied 2-2)
With the series tied 2-2 and Skenes on the mound for the Dogs, we have our first extra inning affair. Skenes pitches into the 9th and shows pitching in his first WS is not a problem. Portland scores 3 unearned runs off of Jeff Hoffman and while the Metsies get one back in the 11th, Uceta shuts the door with the tying runs on base
Portland wins 5-3 (11)
W- Yates
L- Hofmann
S- Uceta

Game 6 (POR leads 3-2)
Clarke Schmidt returned to the mound for the Metsies and does his job, pitching 6+, however closer Jeff Hofmann promptly gives up a solo blast to Bobby Witt jr in the 7th that ties the game. TrackTown regains the lead in the 7th but Portland gets two more in the 8th to tie the game. With their season on the line, TrackTown scratches two across in the 11th on a soft line drive single and those runs hold up to force a game 7
TrackTown wins 6-4 (11)
W- Kahnle
L- Uceta
Game 7
The story here was Cole Ragans. Ragans throws an all-time gem with a no-hitter! It’s the first game Witt jr is held in check (WS average of .444). Willy Adames goes 3-3 and gets Sale for a two run homer in the 4th, and the Metsies eke out an insurance run in the 9th. Ragans is carried off by his teammates it what may go down in history as possibly the best game 7 performance of all time. (Side note, Portland got a runner on with two outs in the 9th and I almost took Ragans out of the game. (What was I supposed to do?!). What a series.
Metsies win 3-0
W- Ragans
L- Sale
